My Client is a Building Services design consultancy that provides an in-house estimating service. A busy first six months of 2009 has seen them work on projects within the commercial, industrial, health and retail sectors valued between £200k and £10m. Due to the increase in enquries they are looking to recruit a Mechanical and an Electrical Estimator to help bring in more business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of detailed tender bids, attending mid & post tender meetings and post tender control. You will be expected to interface and farm their existing clients as well as bringing in new business.

Key duties and responsibilities:
• Can successfully obtain the tender price from suppliers, wholesaler and subcontractors.
• Able to visit site and interpret drawings to clarify what is required and assist in establishing the best cost effective solution.
• Demonstrate an ability to develop options which differentiates the clients tender from the competition.
• Participate in handover of successful bids to delivery team.
• Undertake technical appraisals.

The position offers a competitive salary package which is negotiable dependant on the level of experience.
