Sous Chef
Our client is a trendy gastro pub with a lively and welcoming atmosphere, which has recently been extensively refurbished to an exceptionally high standard.
They are looking to recruit a dynamic, modern and contemporary Sous Chef for their high quality gastro restaurant. The right candidate will be innovative, have flair, passion and a clear drive for success.
Main duties would include:
- Stock Control
- Suppliers Liaison
- Quality Control
- Input with regards to existing menus
- Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations
The successful candidate will:
-Have the ability to work with fresh seasonal produce
-Work as a team player but have the skills to work un-supervised
-Be consistent in ad hearing to company policies and brand standards
-Co ordinate the kitchen when the Head Chef is away.
You must have experience of working in a gastro or a rosette standard restaurant and have a keen eye for detail.
