Lauren Paige was born in Leicester and now lives in Nottingham.
Holding various qualifications, including a BA Honours in Research (Sociology) and Literature, she has worked in Infrastructure Development both locally and regionally.

Creativity has been a key feature in Lauren’s life ~ from her first oil painting of a kestrel at the age of 10, to the poetry composed since the age of 14.
She has been active on the Performance Poetry scene, since 2003 and a part of the Arts Council funded DIY Poets.

In 2006, she combined her skills and passions to establish Transpire Tailored Writing Services, later becoming Transpire Tailored Writing & Artistic Services.

Since rediscovering the pleasures of painting, she has sold art to the public: her first selling immediately through Spowage Art Gallery. She has since also achieved certificates in the use of a variety of media technique, and is a member of The Nottingham Society of Artists.

Lauren now sells independently and works with a variety of media (oil, acrylic, watercolour, gouache), and on a variety of bases (paper, slate, canvas, wood etc).
She also accepts commissions from those, who know precisely what they would like in a painting; (photographs may be necessary).
