Hello there,
I need a help in changing my funny English accent to a standard British accent, i'm not sure whatz the problem but may have to do with pronunciation of some words? I do speak and write well though, but only worried about my accent since my work involved much interaction and talking with people.
Maybe i can meet with someone and speak together or read part of a book together to help reveal the real problem, or do you think am just being worried unduly? being a bit too sensitive?.. i don't know!I'm not shy of my origin or mother tongue but lets agree its worth improving to standardization where needs be, or?
What can i offer in return? i really don't know, i am an Engineer- manufacturing(educated to degree level) and thats it, not too good in anything else that can be exchanged apart from work related stuffs, but i am a nice person with great sense of humour. If its worth paying for, i wouldn't mind but it must be worth paying for. I tried listening to CD but not much help. I am a 31year old male and will welcome male, female, group of 2, any age, don't mind if you tease me out for as long as i learn.
I'm on some holidays now so can meet anytime based upon the schedules of whoever is ready to help, i drive and so can meet anywhere as well.
