If you are a caring person then you want to do what is best for others.

Sometimes what people really need (even if they don't know it) is someone to really listen to them. Just hear what they have to say without telling them what to do, judging them or suggesting what they should do next.

This really helps a person feel valued, understood and respected ... and often they can then move on with their lives.

Sometimes family and friends are too close to be able to do this and they haven't had the training in how to listen without their own needs getting in the way.

This is where effective listening can be a wonderful skill with which to help others.

This course is free to people on most benefits such as job seekers or incapacity benefit or income support. Otherwise £40 in total.
