27 yo guitarist/ songwriter looking to start a new fresh indie/electro/punk band, i need basically to start with a singer /songwriter of close/similar age.(not that important)
male or female.
Soundwise , im looking for something that involves sharp angular guitars, synth bass. powerful /electro/standard drumming.
influences-
Joy Division, the Beatles, british sea power, new order, the jam, the clash, bloc party, editors, bat for lashes, futureheads, kraftwerk, b.r.m.c, ladyhawke,
and more.
like i said, id like to find the frontman/woman first,
but i do need, a bassplayer, drummer, and maybe a lead guitarist,and synth/keys player.
No need to be amazing at playing, just able to keep basic timing amd remembering tunes, im not interested in technical crap, i just want to get out there and do something!
Im based in between derby and notts, near heanor.
if you are dedicated and can travel , that would be a great start.
