Nottingham classes
Are you a caring person? If you can answer Yes read on
I am looking for genuinely caring people. Those who care about others.
Every caring person needs to develop their skills of really listening and understanding another person ... and that's not easy.
Also everyone who wants to go into caring work (counselling, support
work etc) does it better the more they are in touch with themselves, can accept themselves and have strength within on the emotional level.
To listen to someone else you need to know you won't collapse or let
them down under the weight of what they are saying or feeling.
Emotional strength is required now like never before.
here are some courses (that can be free of charge) that can help you
find your inner strength so that you can truly be of greater help to
people around you.
***** Building emotional confidence ***** (learn about what knocks confidence and how to put it right. How others may have injured our self esteem but only we can put it right. Become the confident person you were meant to be and help others become confident themselves) ...... MONDAY 21 SEPTEMBER, 9.30 - 12.00
***** Anger Management ***** (learn about your own triggers, what gets in the way of managing your own anger, how you may have a backlog of angry feelings from the past) ...... MONDAY 21 September, 12.30 - 3.00
***** Moving Forwards ***** (learn more about what you want from life, what is getting in your way of achieving it, how can you best help others move forwards if you are held back?) ..... TUESDAY 22 SEPTEMBER, 9.30 - 12.00
***** Effective Listening ***** (learn how you listen and how to listen more, not only to the words but to the feelings and what a person may be saying underneath. Having someone to listen and not judge and not advise on what to do can be one of the most powerful healing gifts we can offer to others.) ..... FRIDAY 9 OCTOBER, 10.00 - 2.30
Each course is for 6 weeks.
All are at Carlton Road. Just 10 - 15 minutes from the city centre by bus.
And each course costs £40.
But if you currently receive one of the following benefits you can do as many courses as you choose for free: -
