Boots Hockey Club, which is based in West Bridgford, Nottingham, is looking for 2 female goalkeepers for the upcoming season.

Boots has 4 mens and 4 womens teams that play on a saturday, and a very social mixed team that plays on sundays. More details about the club can be found on the club website - www.bootshc.co.uk

Our ladies 1XI will be playing in Midlands Division 1 this coming season following promotion last year; Boots Ladies 2-4XI will be playing in Notts Premier, Notts Div.1 and Notts Div.2 respectively. There will also be an opportunity to play in non-competitive and friendly matches which could include games with our mixed side.

Due to one of our student goalkeeper's leaving the area this summer, we have a vacancy for a goalkeeper of standard somewhere between Midlands 1 and Notts 1 to slot into one of the upper teams. We are also looking for a goalkeeper for one of the lower teams.

Fear not if you have never played in goal or even hockey! Come and have a try, you never know you might be a natural! We will provide all the protection and equipment you need and we promise lots of fun!

We regularly have outfield players who have not played before joining our 4th team, and offer a very relaxed and social welcome to anyone who wants to just come along and see what the club is about before you commit to any games etc.
