My name is Steve and I need you to help me to help you. Now that may sound a bit 'weird' but bare with me ;)

Im looking for someone to bounce comedy ideas off. Someone that for some time has realised that the way the look at life makes other people laugh and maybe wants to break out of the mundane day to day grind before they end up killing someone. I know I 'can' be really funny, but I don't have much drive and motivation to do a lot about it on my own. It also doesn't help that people in the comedy business keep everything close to their chests (probably because they don't want the competition) so breaking into it can be very tough. My comedy influences cover many comedians from all Countries and era's but I would say my own humour matches with people like Sean Lock and Frank Skinner. When im 'in the zone' the stuff that I think of even amazes myself and when I see standup performances from comedians like 'Paul Foot' I know I can do much better if given the opportunity.

At nearly 40 ive realised that this could be my last opportunity to do something I enjoy AND hopefully get paid for it. I have spent most of my adult life doing virtually nothing of any relevance so basically its now or never. I want to meet someone of any age or gender that know they have it within them to make a good standup comedian. What I don't want is neurotic, self obsessed crazy people that will look down at their noses at you like you are some kind of freak. Ideally I would like to meet someone I can feel comfortable with that are on the same wave length, so are you that person?
