Wedding Mobile Disco & DJ Public Liability Insurance from DJ Associates

If you are getting married and having a Wedding Reception Disco, it is more than likely that your Wedding Mobile Disco Entertainer will need to supply proof of DJ Public Liability insurance cover.

If you are a working Mobile Disco, you will probably also be asked, either by your client or a venue to provide evidence of your public liability (PLI) cover, and this is becoming more and more common amongst hotel chains and council run venues.

If you are a client who is hiring Disco Equipment for a weekend, then a venue may also ask you to obtain and provide insurance cover.

Because Public Liability Insurance is not a legal requirement, many mobile disco and DJ entertainers do not hold PLI cover or an acceptable level of Public Liability Insurance cover.

Venues set the level of public liability required to be in place before an entertainer performs on premises. If the DJ performer does not provide Public Liability cover in advance of function date / upon request, it is highly likely that the DJ will be refused entry and turned away from the venue.
