This Housing Association is a new landlord owning, managing and improving more than 3,350 homes in north Nottinghamshire.  They provide a wide range of homes and services to tenants and residents across the estate with a strong local workforce with many years of experience.  These are exciting times for them as work has already started to plan the £41.9 million programme to repair and improve homes. 
As part of their ongoing evolution, they are recruiting for a Responsive Repairs Manager to manage and deliver the responsive repairs and gas servicing function for tenants and lessees in housing and non housing stock.
 
Key Accountabilities:
- To develop a customer focused Repair Centre to deliver a right first time responsive maintenance service.
- Management and delivery of a responsive maintenance service and gas servicing function within appropriate time scales, in line with budget and in accordance with legislative and corporate requirements.
- The development, implementation and control of systems to deliver a customer focused property inspection service and a compliant gas servicing function.  You will also implement continual improvement practises by the use of IT systems to utilise technical and customer feedback to shape and improve future service delivery.
- Responsibility for development, implementation and control of staff and resources to provide technical advice and ensure effective control of delegated budgets
- Responsible for the management of contract terms and conditions with external contractors in order to deliver a customer focused service and achieve service improvements.
- Development and day to day management of the team to provide a customer focused repair service to all customers
- Ensuring that contractor performance is monitored and recorded in relation to time, cost and quality.

In addition you will have a thorough understanding of all aspects of CDM regulations and all relevant legislation covering Gas Safety and Repairs & Maintenance
Ideally holding a professional qualification such as MCIOB, RICS or equivalent, you will also have qualifications and experience commensurate with the post
