Sneinton Volunteer Project, based at TRACS Neighbourhood Centre, 60 Sneinton Hollows helps people who are interested in voluntary work to find suitable placements. This is a free service available to all Nottingham residents. TRACS Neighbourhood Centre is a registered charity (Charity no. 1104798).
We are currently helping a local Community Development Trust to recruit volunteer receptionists for their job shop. Successful applicants must have excellent communication and organisational skills, be IT literate and customer-focused. Duties will include filing, photocopying, word-processing, emailing and answering the phone. Other duties will include booking customers in and out, data entry and all other related duties as and when required. You would need to volunteer a minimum of 4 hours per week and you would be required to work mornings 9am – 1pm or afternoons 1pm – 5pm.
