Finance Supervisor up to £30,000

Our client, a high profile organisation, has an exciting newly created opportunity available for a suitable qualified accountant with proven managerial / supervisory skills.

This role has been created due to reorganisation within the department and it will therefore lend itself to some form of development, although the primary responsibilities will be to assist the existing Finance Supervisor in the management of debtors and work in progress (WIP) and the delivery of timely and accurate management information region wide.

You will be managing the credit control function, providing solutions and a higher level of support as and when necessary. In addition you will also be managing the working capital; recoverability’s, driving through improvements and efficiencies, reviewing WIP, querying write-offs etc. You will ensure that billing targets are met against forecast at month-end and will provide the group with reforecast numbers. In association with the other finance supervisor you will provide support in the preparation of management accounts for the region.

This role could easily suit a number of different candidates; either QBE Accountants (financial or management) or CIMA / ACCA / ACA studiers but what is essential, is your robust and authoritative nature - you should however still be a ‘people person’ and therefore easy going in your approach. An ability to manage / supervise staff and communicate at a senior level is also vital.
Advanced Excel, a proactive nature and ability to work to deadlines are also key attributes.
