Working under the direction of the Planning Policy Manager, an exciting opportunity now exists for a dynamic and motivated planning professional to play a key role in driving forward the local development framework. 
 
You will have relevant experience in planning policy or plan formulation work, be technically competent, confident and enthusiastic.  In addition you will have Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute.  They can offer a wide range of interesting planning work in a friendly and supportive environment which will help develop your professional career.
 
As one of the senior members of a small team you will be responsible for providing a planning service to the Council, supervising and co-ordinating and checking the work of employees and temporary or contract workers, together with providing instruction and liaising with external consultants.
