Qualified Quantity Surveyor - East Midlands

Our Client who provides commercial and contractual solutions are currently looking to recruit a Qualified Quantity Surveyor with dispute management experience within the construction industry.


Responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and defending claims

- Supporting experts in adjudications/arbitrations/litigations.

- Assisting employers, contractors or insurers and their legal teams in analysing and reporting on quantum and contractual claims for projects

- Involvement in developing strategies behind formulating and defending claims

The ideal candidate will have:

- Quantity Surveying experience preferable gained in a contracting environment with a thorough understanding of adjudication notices and agreements, referral, response, production of the decisions and enforcement or avoidance of such decisions.

- Previous experience of construction claims would be preferable

- Professionally qualified (e.g. RICS, CIOB, CIArb)

- Legally qualified or willing to undertake a legal qualification (funding provided)

- Strong desire to pursue a long term career in the field of construction claims

- Must have excellent report writing skills.
