This is a fantastic quality guitar from the pre-Fender (2002) days of Jackson, I bought it new in 2001 when they were just discontinued. They used to sell for up to £1200 new and the specs will show you why.

* It is the top end of the Japanese made Jacksons.
* Alder body with gloss black finish.
* Maple neck with rosewood fretboard.
* Neck-thru design leaving no protruding joint for easy upper fret access.
* 22 jumbo frets.
* One volume, one tone and 3 position switch (bridge, both, neck).
* Seymour Duncan TB-4 JB Humbucker (Bridge).
* Seymour Duncan SH-2 Jazz Humbucker (Neck).
* Jackson licensed Floyd Rose tremolo + locking nut.

It comes with Dunlop straplocks which I installed as soon as I bought the guitar - they are £15 new and it's worth it to protect such a nice guitar from falling! These consist of the replacement strap button (can still be used with normal straps) and the parts which lock into them which I have fitted onto a nice comfortable Levys strap which is also included.

Everything comes in a really good quality flat hardcase with lock + key which really protects the guitar.

I have fully set this thing up - stripped down, cleaned, polished, put back together and fitted Earnie Ball Regular Slinky strings, then balanced the bridge, set the action, intonated and tuned in standard EADGBe it so it's ready to go - it does come with the allen key needed to undo the locking nut and string locks on the bridge.

While the guitar is generally in good condition I have been using it for 8 years now and it does have a few minor imperfections, where possible I have captured these in the photos but most are too difficult to show. There are 3 noticable but small dents as shown, and nothing else of that extent, just a few other tiny little dents and scuffs.
