Course Objectives:

On completion of the course, delegates will understand:

• Normal and Abnormal Child Development
• How children learn
• Promoting physical development
• Understanding and facilitating social and emotional development
• Supporting positive behaviours

All those involved in direct care with children aged 0-5

6 Hour one day course

Course requirements/notes:

Delegates are required to take active participation in the practical sessions.

It is recommended that delegates also attend the Safeguarding Children Training Session also.
