Must be 16 years plus. This course is for those ladies wanting to perform. Its part of Bailiamo; a new Latin Dance perfomance group in Nottingham founded by Wendy Chapple and choreographed by Angelique Sinclaire www.seraphimdance.co.uk.

You can come from any dance background, but must be serious about wanting to perform and be happy to take individual correction. The team are lovely people and two of our dancers from Nottingham are about to perform our new choreography for the first time at Cafe Mambo next Saturday, feel free to ask for further info. The course will run until the choreography is finished and that can take between 3-5 months on average, after which you will get to perform it in various venues. Please have some experience of picking up class choreography.

The dance will be mambo ladies shines and body movement for those of you who are not familiar with mambo it is a style of salsa from New York, so movements involve foodwork and use of isolation. As is it a choreography those with other dance experience will be able to learn it, and it is a great opportunity for those who are dancers to learn this style of dance with proffessional details, as although it is a student course it will be done to a high standard

Costumes will be to professional standard, and cost around £70. Stonned and fully fitted with leotard knickers, we import them and do not charge any commision on them.

Salsa classes we encourage you to have fun but the small details correction and hard work that will make you a better dancer rarely takes place in a group class. In a choreography you find yourself progressing quickly and learning more in 6 months than you could learn in 2 years of classes. Dancing is my passion and as such I enjoy to pass on my knowledge to those who vale it and watch while them become better dancers this gives me great satisfaction.

Those who become good during this choreography may have the chance to join our partnerwork group at a later stage.
