Hey there, my name is Kris Harris and I'm the programme controller for Varsity Radio - a brand new radio station launching in November of this year.

Varsity Radio is the only national student radio station; accomodating exclusively to college and university students, with programming revolving around entertainment and information for their lifestyles.

Graduates, this is where you come in. We all know how hard it is to get into the radio industry, there are so many hopeful people who just don't get that chance, and you know student life - so come get involved! We need presenters, producers, writers, technicians and admin to work on a volunteer basis to get the station off the ground. If you would like a show, you need to be aware that the station is being set up in Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, but if you can't travel then that is no problem! You can pre-record shows for overnight programming or broadcast from home if you have equipment up to standard!

Varsity will be an internet radio station (so everyone can tune in easily) and will run 24 hours a day. We'll be launching on the 1st of November with test broadcasts throughout October.
