The role is based in the Head Office and you will make up a team of six. This is an integral role replacing someone who has been in the role for twenty years and is due to retire.

Your responsibilities will include:

·          Producing monthly management accounts for the group

·          Checking margins and reporting to the FD

·          Ensure control accounts balance

·          Producing relevant journals

·          Obtaining merchant numbers

·          Produce Monthly management accounts

·          VAT

·          Analysis of margins per store

·          With 35 store+ produce that many PL statements

·          Review budget predictions week to week, month to month

You will:

·          Possess a sound understanding of double entry book keeping

·          Have a real bloodhound nature. Someone who can identify variances and differences on a number of reports.

·          Be a Management Accountant that can roll your sleeves up and get stuck in

·          Have experience working within a medium sized company

·          Sound knowledge of Excel and Sage

·          Stable work history (proven history of holding long term roles)

This is a full time position, which has some flexibility around the core hours of the 37.5 hours worked each week. Salary between £20K and £30K based on experience. Parking is provided.
