Lincolnshire based social services require x4 assistant social worker's for a minimum 4 months contract, The four vacancies are based in three separate sites across the county. The client is already beginning to short list suitable candidates for this position, as they are looking for an ASAP start date.

Our client is looking for an experienced practitioner in adults services with a knowledge of front line services and legislation's. This is a temporary position is to be reviewed in February 2010, possibly on-going from this point.

Job Summary: Provide practical support to the Social Work Team. Release social workers from performing essential but time consuming tasks, which do not necessarily require professional social work skills.

1. Experience of working with social care agencies
2. Experience of working with a diverse population
3. Understanding of modern health and social care issues
4. Good written and verbal skills
5. Flexible approach
6. Good organisation skills
7. Able to prioritise work and work to deadlines under pressure
8. Good IT skills
9. Able to work as a team
