Job Description
This position will involve taking full responsibility for this hotels restaurant and bar. The restaurant serves international cuisine and is open for breakfast and dinner. The bar serves snacks and lunch. The restaurant seats 80 covers and the bar 50.
Your key duties will involve:-
* Improving Standards
* Training and Developing
* Monitoring the restaurant diary
* Maintaining Food and Beverage profits
* Up selling
* Duty Management
* Ensuring there is an emphasis on security
* Stock Control
* Liquor Audit
* Payroll
* Appraisals and job chats
* Recruitment
* Attending departmental meetings and HOD meetings
* Ensuring all aspects of the department are adhering to the law
You will need flexibility with your working hours to be successful within this role.

Required Experience
* Previous experience in a management/assistant role is essential
* Experience within a branded environment would be preferable
* Ability to manage a team
* Desire to develop others
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to plan and prioritise
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work without constant supervision
* Understanding of the market and customers

Salary and Benefits
The starting salary for this role is £17,000- £19,000. Company benefits include 10% bonus, uniform, free car parking and for someone wishing to relocate, potential temporary live in.
