Role Description :
Our client is a busy Gastro Pub in Lincolnshire (Boston / Skegness) who seek an experienced Head Chef to lead the team in continued high standards throughout the operation.

This property has built up an impressive following, particularly with their weekend business.

Only fresh produce is used and you will need to show a consistent track record in food production to 1 Rosette level.

Total covers are 80 which include a Restaurant & Conservatory.

Privately owned – The proprietors are very proud of the success they have built in an area that is quite remote and they need a dedicated professional Chef to join them and move things forward.

You may be an existing Head Chef with these qualities or possibly a Sous ready to move into your first Head Chef role.

Daily Kitchen Management within all areas
Food production at the highest level
Staff training & Development
Staff Rotas & Wage Controls
Ordering – Stock Controls - Stocktakes
Forecasting & Achieving Budgetary Controls / GP
Maintain, review and install efficient working systems / procedures and keep departmental records “up to date”
Health, Safety & Hygiene – COSHH – HACCP Risk Assessments
Meeting & exceeding guest expectations at all opportunities
Duty Management
Menu Compilation & Development
Managing a brigade of 5
