I'm recording ten original songs. The album 'Endless Circles' is a character portait of a guy living on the bottom rungs (stoner, boozer, womaniser). The idea is from a listeners perspective your introduced to someone who is fairly abrasive. However during the course of the recording you pick up the guy's life story and how he became the person he is, so in the end you get to know him and develop some sympathy towards him. Because of the nature of the material I'm looking for a vocalist who can reflect that kind of rough living persona
The music is melodic, mainly uptempo guitar orientated rock but really it doesn't fall neartly into a bracket as it incorporates many styles. The project is being recorded at Paperstone Studio's on Haydon Road and the music tracks are largely complete. All the musicians on the project are full time professionals and I can send as MP3 of one of the tracks (it's unmixed and in reality will be meatier but you'l get te the idea). This is a real attempt at doing something sucessful. I'm hoping to attract a vocalist that roughly falls in the 26-36 age catagory, so I need to find someone who will be committed. Hope it's you!
